You'll find this evening observatory tour just an hour north of Perth between the stunning Yanchep National Park and township of Gingin. The GDC Gingin Observatory is part of the Gravity Precinct and shares this special piece of pristine bushland with the Gravity Discovery Centre, AIGO research centre and the famous Zadko telescope enabling visitors to experience science in an extraordinary number of ways.
The Observatory boasts a fully retractable roof, state of the art telescopes and amazing WA dark sky, offering visitors a world class astronomy experience.
The tour includes a 30 minute presentation, a laser tour to showcase constellations, followed by stargazing.
📍 Gravity Discovery Centre, Military Road, Yeal WA, Australia
Stargazing visits are held regardless of the weather. If viewing through the telescopes is not possible, due to inclement weather, a fun and informative session will be held in the GDC Theatre and a cloudy night pass will be issued (freereturn).
