- Vessels depart from the jetty on the river side of the Wharf complex behind the Rice Boi restaurant. You can enter The Wharf complex at the main entrance (between Flo’s Crêperie and Fudgees Lolly Shop), or through the alleyway (where Kenilworth Bakery & Local Social Café are located) and walk straight through the courtyard towards to river you will arrive at the jetty. There is also a directory located at the main entrance at The Wharf complex.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time to ensure on time departure.

FAQs
What if it rains or is too windy?
We don’t head out in pouring rain, your comfort and safety is our first priority. If there is moderate, widespread rain we will cancel the tour. If there is only a few scattered, light showers the tour will most likely go ahead. If the tour is cancelled, you will be contacted on the contact number or email address you provided when you made your booking. We always try to give as much notice as possible. The same applies if it is too windy or the swell is too big.
Is there somewhere I can store valuables?
Cabin onboard the boat where belongings can be safely stowed. As space is limited please only bring essential items with you.
What should I wear?
We are blessed with beautiful Sunshine Coast sunshine for most of the year, however, we generally suggest you rug up onboard from June to August, it can get cold out on the water. We provide good quality wind/spray jackets for every passenger should you wish. Sunglasses and sunscreen are highly recommended on every trip no matter what the weather forecast.
Guidelines, Cancellation, Terms
- A reasonable level of movement and agility. If you are pregnant, unfortunately, this tour is not for you.
- All passengers must complete a participation waiver for each guest prior to travelling. You can access the Coastal Express waiver here.
