Our tour starts at the stunning Pambula River Mouth with vibrant turquoise water and beautiful natural surroundings. No kayaking experience needed as our expert kayak guide will show you how! Paddle up the river as our guide points out some of the wildlife and natural features of the soon to be re-named Ben Boyd National Park.

Before you know it, you’ll be at Broadwater Oysters, an award-winning Sydney Rock Oyster farm. If you have ever wanted to learn how to shuck oysters, well now is your chance and it’s easier than you think. Broadwater oysters will set the table with everything you need to open and taste the freshest oysters – straight out of the water.

Want to purchase more oysters to take home? No worries, there is heaps of room in our touring kayaks to store oysters in for the paddle back.

Don’t like oysters but still want to kayak the Pambula River? No worries, just let us know at the time of booking and we’ll substitute the oyster shucking experience for a gourmet bush morning tea on one of the secluded beaches!

##Activity Fitness Level
Active: Ideal for those with moderate fitness and good balance, this kayaking experience may involve sustained effort and paddling over long distances, occasionally against wind or current. If you are looking for an easy kayak try our Pambula River Kayak tour and add an Oyster experience. 

##What to bring
– Hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen
– Shoes that can get wet and comfortable clothing
– Any personal medication needed
– Water bottle
– Camera / phone
– Raincoat / jacket for colder days

##Accessibility Information
– Our expert kayak guides are able to assist everybody in entering and exiting the kayaks safely and with dignity
– Must be able to bend knees to comfortably sit in kayak
– Kayaks have maximum weight limit of 130kg set out by the manufacturers specifications
– Trained assistance animals are not permitted inside the kayaks for safety reasons
– There is an accessible ramp with hand rails to the beach that we launch the kayaks from
– Two level carparks reserved for people with a disability at at Pambula River Mouth
– Ramp with handrails to an accessible toilets and outdoor showers at Pambula River Mouth
– No accessible toilets at Broadwater Oysters
