Starting at Tallarook, the trail winds its way past the heritage-classified Goulburn River and through the scenic Trawool Valley, recognised by the National Trust for its beauty. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden gems like the 201-metre-long Cheviot Tunnel, a reminder of the region’s rail heritage, and the charming Alexandra Station with its Timber Tramway and Museum.

Families will love the variety of experiences along the trail, from cycling over nearly 50 bridges and water crossings to soaking up panoramic views of Lake Eildon and the Victorian High Country.
