1. How long does BuzzAttack take? The game runs for 60 minutes. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in, so plan for about 75 minutes in total.
2. How much does it cost? Tickets start from $31.90 per person. Prices vary by session date and group size, and you buy one ticket per person playing.
3. What age is BuzzAttack suitable for? There’s no minimum age, but players shorter than 130cm may have trouble reaching the game panels. Under-13s must be accompanied by an adult during the game, and under-16s need an adult present at the venue.
4. How many people do we need? Bookings are for groups of 4 to 12 players, who split into teams of one to three. Groups of 13 or more can book through a custom group request.
5. What days and times does it run? [CONFIRM standard operating days and session times]
6. What actually happens during the game? You check in with the crew, split into teams and take your places at podiums on the set. Teams race through five TV-inspired challenges plus express mini-games, spinning the multiplier wheel between rounds. A grand final round decides the winners.
7. What kinds of questions are in the Original Quiz? A mix of general knowledge, music and intuition challenges, so different players in the family can carry different rounds.
8. Which quiz should families choose? The Original Quiz — it’s designed for general audiences. BuzzAttack also runs a Rowdy Quiz with cheeky humour and risqué references aimed at adults, so check you’ve selected Original when booking with kids.
9. Do I need to be good at trivia? No. Intuition rounds and the multiplier wheel mean scores can swing right up to the last second, so a team that starts slowly can still win.
10. Will we be playing with another group? [CONFIRM whether sessions are private to one booking or shared between groups]
12. Are there family friendly facilities: BuzzAttack is on Level 2 and the venue isn’t yet wheelchair accessible, so pram access may be limited. [CONFIRM stairs or lift access and pram parking]
14. Is there food and drink available, or can we bring our own? [CONFIRM]
15. What’s the parking situation? Street parking may be available nearby, subject to availability. Fever Hub is a short walk from Fortitude Valley train station and several bus routes.
16. Is there somewhere for a non-playing adult to wait? Under-16s need an adult present at the venue. [CONFIRM seating or waiting area for non-players]
17. How loud or busy is it? The set uses bright, flashing lights throughout the show. [CONFIRM noise level and any quieter space]
18. What if my child gets overwhelmed and needs to leave? Refunds aren’t available except as required under Australian Consumer Law. [CONFIRM whether there’s a quiet space and how staff support early exits]
19. Are there flashing lights? Yes. There are no strobe lights, but the show uses bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort for guests with photosensitive epilepsy. It isn’t recommended for guests with photosensitive epilepsy or visual impairments.
20. Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Not yet. Fever Hub Brisbane says it’s working on making its experiences more inclusive.
21. Can hearing-impaired guests take part? Yes. The game is mainly visual, so hearing-impaired guests can play.
22. Do I need to print my ticket? No. Your ticket is in the Tickets section of the Fever app — show it at the door.
23. What happens if we’re running late? Entry isn’t permitted once a session has begun, so arrive 15 minutes before your start time.
24. Can I change my date or get a refund? Date changes are allowed up to 48 hours before your session. Refunds aren’t available except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
25. Can I give my ticket to someone else? Yes. Tickets can be transferred to another person free of charge before the session starts.
26. Can I give BuzzAttack as a gift? Yes. Fever sells a BuzzAttack gift card.
27. How is this different from a trivia night or escape room? You’re competing head-to-head on a game-show set — podiums, stage lights, cameras and a multiplier wheel — rather than at a pub table or in a locked room. The scoring runs live on a leaderboard, and the wheel can change the result in the final round.
Tiffany –
Such a great experience for all ages. I visited with my 3 year old who loves all things lights and sounds so she was definitely in her element. A great multi sensory experience with I believe 8 or so different rooms, each one a different sensory theme. The ball pit was a hands down favourite and appeared to be the case for most of those visiting at the time. It took us approx 30-40 minutes to work our way through however on a busier day I imagine it would take a bit longer. Parking was easy and definitely recommend booking online before hand to save some $$$. Highly recommend as a great time with family. Staff were also super helpful.
