Step back in time and discover the rich stories of the Scenic Rim at Beaudesert Historical Museum, one of Queensland’s largest country town museums with over 10,000 fascinating artefacts to explore.

Families will love wandering through treasures big and small, from the bright red Dennis Fire Engine once hailed as the “Rolls Royce” of fire equipment, to the simple charm of the Mother Potts clothes iron. The much-loved Milbanks Pioneer Cottage, originally built in 1875, gives kids and parents the chance to imagine life as an early settler family – complete with a four-poster bed and cedar sideboard.

The museum’s newest highlight, the Angels of Agriculture Display, celebrates bees and their vital role in farming and community life – a story sure to inspire curious young minds.

With something for every generation, Beaudesert Historical Museum is the perfect spot to slow down, share stories, and spark meaningful family conversations about how life has changed (and stayed the same) through the years.

Opening Hours: Daily 10am to 2pm. Closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
