The Mad Botanist has escaped! Professor Whiz needs your help to find the final ingredient to stop the Mad Botanist in his tracks.
A wonderful combination of nature, connection with people and creative thinking, this interactive and immersive experience is set in the spectacular grounds of Sydney Botanic Gardens. Designed to be fun and entertaining, The Mad Botanist scavenger hunt will have you working together as family and friends discovering the gardens like never before as you follow the clues. But don’t worry if it all gets a little tricky you can ask for a hint!
You’ll be led by your trail instructions sent to your email so you can follow along on your phone with comic strip updates to weave the story to life! Images and videos are used throughout the trail for entertainment and learning through various backstories.
Unless you have teenagers, it will be on the parents to join in the fun too in this safe and spectacular setting!

- Accessibility: The gardens are both wheelchair accessible and pram friendly.
- What do I need to bring: Bring along a pen and paper as it can be useful to solve some of the anagram clues. We also recommend you bring some water on hot days.

Can you play on two phones?
Yes, you will need to add an additional team at checkout with their team name and mobile number.
How do I start the trail?
The team captain will receive an email. This includes you and your team members unique play links along with instructions. Make sure to forward the email to all team members. Click on the link and the game opens in your browser immediately. No downloads required.
