SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast has unveiled its latest masterpiece – the spectacular Seahorse Kingdom!

This enchanting new exhibit invites visitors to dive into a magical Atlantis-themed underwater world, home to over 100 seahorses. With its captivating design and interactive experiences, Seahorse Kingdom promises a colourful start to your adventure at Sea Life Sunshine Coast.

During our recent visit on a Saturday mid-term, we were delighted to explore this mesmerizing exhibit with our primary-aged children. The Seahorse Kingdom showcases a stunning array of species, including Weedy Sea Dragons, Pot Bellied Seahorses, Kuda Seahorses, Longsnout Seahorses, and Barbour’s Seahorses. The variety and beauty of these creatures had us awestruck!

Visiting close to lunchtime was ideal as all the shows were on, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. We could easily move around and take our time, as it wasn’t crowded like it often is during school holidays. This made our visit even more enjoyable and relaxed.

As we wandered through the Atlantis-themed wonderland, we were captivated by the immersive design, one of the largest seahorse exhibits in Australia. The exhibit’s ambiance, combined with more than 100 captivating seahorses, made us feel as though we had truly entered an underwater kingdom. The magic of the deep unfolded before our eyes as we explored this enchanting world.

A day out at Sea Life Sunshine Coast offers opportunity for new discoveries, with interactive experiences offered throughout the exhibit. Our children were thrilled to engage in various activities that brought them closer to the seahorse and other sea creatures. From their infamous tidal touch-pools, EAC turtle race, hands-on displays to educational games, the interactive elements added an extra layer of play and learning to our visit.
