Embark on a transformative cultural adventure through Quandamooka Country.

This is the ultimate tour for families seeking to connect with the land, sea, and indigenous heritage. Led by Elisha Kissick, a proud Quandamooka woman residing in Minjerribah, families will be immersed in the rich tapestry of Quandamooka culture. With Elisha’s guidance, discover ancient traditions, stories of the land, and the importance of preserving indigenous wisdom for future generations.

Begin your journey with a mesmerizing Welcome to Country ceremony at Bummiera (Brown Lake), followed by a leisurely walk through the footsteps of Quandamooka ancestors at Moongalaba/Terra Bulla (Old Mission Site) and Capemba (Myora Springs). Then, ascend to Mulumba (Point Lookout headland) to soak in panoramic views, hear captivating creation stories, and learn about the island’s vibrant flora and its significance in indigenous life.

As your adventure draws to a close, visit Delvene Cookatoo Collins’ studio, where families can find a special keepsake—a tangible reminder of the profound connections forged during your exploration of Quandamooka Country.
