See the world from a new perspective that is of a tropical reef at Sea World’s Reef Lagoon, often touted as the highlight of many a family trip!
This snorkel adventure will have you immersed in an array of tropical fish and incredible marine life in very comfortable 22-24 degree waters. You’ll create the most magical memories of swimming with majestic sting rays and even the harmless Black Tip and White Tip Reef sharks. While those fascinated by sharks will be invited to take a closer look through to the Shark Lagoon to see the much larger sharks including one of the most misunderstood sharks, the Bull whaler shark.

-The water is heated in winter to a very comfortable 22-24 degrees and features a number of ‘safe havens’ where you can stand and rest while snorkeling.
-You’ll be accompanied by an experienced Dive Leader for the duration of your snorkel.

- Opening Hours: Park gates open 9.30am to 5pm

- Family Facilities: Stroller hire available for 6months-3years $20 with form of ID. Parents Rooms contain private feeding areas and separate changing facilities and are located at Top Terrace to left of Sea World Exit Shop and between Shark Bay + Penguin Point.
- Car Parking: Ample parking is available at Sea World.
- What to wear: Swimmers. Wetsuit and snorkel gear provided
Guidelines, Cancellation, Terms
- Participants must be 8 years of age or over
- Children under 10 years must be accompanied by a paying person 14 years or older (one guardian per child) OR a paying person 18 years or older may accompany two children under 10. This person must be able to provide assistance to the younger child during the wetsuit dressing process and also whilst in the pool.
- Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English,or have a translator available to translate the pre-program brief for them. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program
- Participants must read and acknowledge all health risks (some medical conditions will prohibit participation)
- Participants must be competent swimmers/able to swim unaided
- Participants must have controlled motor movement
- Participants must be able to understand and follow directional hand signals of staff as outlined in snorkel briefing
- Participants must be able to quickly exit the pool area unassisted
- Participants must not have any open cuts or infections
- Guests with disabilities are asked to call Customer Connect on 133 386 to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating
- If pregnant, participants must not be further than 6 months.
