A sensory-friendly musical journey
Step into a world of myth, music, and magic as the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra presents a relaxed concert designed for children with additional needs and their families.
Developed in partnership with Access2Arts and Tutti Arts, this sensory-friendly performance offers a welcoming environment for families with sensory, communication, and learning needs.
Through the enchanting sounds of the Guzheng—a traditional Chinese instrument—paired with shadow puppetry and narration, the Tale of the Fire Phoenix brings an ancient Chinese myth to life. Witness the courageous Fire Phoenix as it embarks on a daring quest to save a drought-stricken forest, soaring to a breathtaking musical score where each character has its own unique theme.
Supported by The Foskett Foundation and Beyond Bank, this accessible and inclusive concert is a chance for all families to enjoy the wonder of live music and storytelling in a comfortable and engaging setting.
