Discover the heart of the farm

Just 10 minutes north of Bundaberg, Splitters Farm is a 160-acre working cattle property and a safe haven for rescued farm animals. Since 2017, the farm has provided sanctuary to animals that have been neglected, abused, or affected by drought and financial hardship.

Visitors can explore the farm at their own pace with a self-guided entry available seven days a week. Wander through paddocks, meet the many lovable animals, and enjoy the peace of the surrounding nature reserve. For a deeper dive, join a guided tour every weekend at 10:30am. These tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at farm life where you can collect eggs, taste fresh honey, and learn about the incredible work that goes into caring for the animals.

Splitters Farm isn’t just about barnyard fun. It’s also home to an array of native wildlife, including wallabies, platypus, prehistoric lungfish, barramundi, and over 150 species of Australian birds. An aspiring photographer’s dream, the property offers endless opportunities to capture stunning moments—so don’t forget your camera, sunscreen, and hat!

Perfect for families, animal lovers, and anyone seeking an authentic farm experience, Splitters Farm invites you to reconnect with nature and discover the magic of this special place.
