From Saturday 14 December to Monday 27 January at Museum of Brisbane, enjoy non-stop fun all summer long with an exciting line-up of FREE and affordable activities including hands-on workshops, interactive exhibits, and summer adventures that will spark curiosity, creativity, and learning.
School holiday activities include:
- Camera Obscura Workshop
Turn a cardboard box into a working camera obscura and learn about the magic of light and images in this hands-on photography adventure for ages 13+. - Macaranga Mates
Get creative and craft a hanging Macaranga Mate inspired by native plants, perfect for all ages to explore nature and design together. - Family Flyers
Design and decorate your own kite using family photos, creating a unique keepsake to soar through the sky, suitable for all ages. - Teen Zines Workshop
Teens (13+) can explore the art of zine-making, starting with a guided exhibit tour and creating a personalized photo collage zine to take home. - New Light: Young Explorers Tour
Kids aged 6–12 can enjoy an exclusive early tour of the New Light exhibition with games, hands-on activities, and creative keepsakes to take home.
