Discover the Magic of Scenic World at Katoomba

Step into a place where wonder and adventure await at every turn—Scenic World, in the heart of the breathtaking Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Area. This is no ordinary destination; it’s a playground of natural beauty that will spark your child’s curiosity and inspire a lifelong love for the wonders of nature.

Here, you can hop aboard the world’s steepest passenger railway, plunging 310 metres down the escarpment into the lush Jamison Valley. As the train descends at a thrilling 52-degree incline, you’re treated to panoramic views that stretch across canyons and forests—perfect for creating magical family memories. Explore the ancient rainforest on foot, then ride back to the top in the Scenic Cableway, offering jaw-dropping views of the Three Sisters along the way.

For the ultimate family adventure, take to the skies on the Scenic Skyway, gliding 270 metres above the valley floor. With birds flying below you, it’s an experience that feels like pure magic. Scenic World isn’t just a place to visit—it’s a place where imaginations soar, hearts race, and appreciation for nature deepens.
