Get ready for a monster-sized creative adventure! Inspired by the plastic waste found on local streets, artist Darren Horsfield brings to life a colourful installation of over 100 unique plastic monsters—each made entirely from recycled materials.
🧩 Hands-on fun for kids! During the exhibition, Darren will set up his studio in The Project Space at Maitland Regional Art Gallery, inviting families to join in, get creative, and turn plastic waste into art!
♻️ A playful way to learn about sustainability! With 130,000 tonnes of plastic ending up in our oceans each year, this exhibition sparks conversations about the environment while letting kids’ imaginations run wild.
🎭 See art in action! Watch Darren craft his quirky creatures live, and maybe even create your own recycled masterpiece.
Perfect for little eco-warriors and budding artists, Recycled Monster Art is a fun and inspiring way to show kids how everyday waste can be transformed into something extraordinary!
