About

Drive a train, ride the rails, and step back in time!

Nestled on the serene shores of Lake Alexandrina, just an hour south of Adelaide, the Milang Railway Museum offers a charming blend of history and hands-on fun. It's a place where young conductors and seasoned rail fans can immerse themselves in the golden age of Australian railways.

Climb into the cab of a historic South Australian Railways diesel locomotive and take the controls in a realistic simulator, guiding your train through virtual landscapes. Explore interactive displays, model trains, and the fascinating South Australian Light Railway Centre, which tells the story of the 700 small railways that once crisscrossed the state.

On weekends, enjoy free train rides every ten minutes, and on Sundays, indulge in a delightful Devonshire tea for just $6. The museum is open from 12 PM to 4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, with free entry for all. Group lunches can also be arranged by appointment on weekdays.

🎟️ Don't miss this unique journey through South Australia's rich railway heritage—plan your visit today!
