Karwarra Australian Native Botanic Garden

Home to birds, butterflies, insects and frogs. Echidnas, wombats, native bush rats, sugar gliders and other possums.

The reserve is well known for its quirky saddle-shaped oval. There is a children's playground and a multipurpose area provide space for the young and young at heart.

At any time of the year, there are colourful flowers and foliage with much to see and enjoy. Karwarra has plant collections including Boronias, Telopeas (Waratahs) and rare and threatened plants. There is also a well-stocked nursery with lots of interesting tubes and pots for purchase.

There is a section of natural bush where native orchids and wildflowers can be seen in spring and summer.
