FAQs
- Opening Hours: Open weekdays 10am to 4pm. Weekends, Public Holidays and School Holidays 9am to 5pm.
- Accessibility: The tracks through Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park are all paved. In other words, they are wheel chair and walking frame friendly.
- Car Parking: Ample parking on-site.
- Dress Code: Enclosed shoes and long shorts or pants are required for all participants.
- What to bring: We recommend bringing a water bottle, raincoat and/or sunscreen depending on the weather. We also suggest bringing along a camera as there will be many photo opportunities. Zookeeper 4 A Day is available most days of the year.
Guidelines, Cancellation, Terms
Please note that we require a minimum of 2 participants for the to session go ahead. If a session needs to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being met, we will reschedule you to another suitable day.
Participants may be placed in groups relative to their age and experience.
Weather Information
Due to the dangers of extreme heat for animals and children alike, we reserve the right to postpone the Junior Zookeeper program on hot Summer days. We will contact all participants at least 24 hours before their booking to notify them of our decision. The decision to postpone will be based on a forecast of 35° celsius, and over, for the town of Pinjarra, by the Bureau of Meteorology. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope you appreciate our safety concerns.
