Are you ready for the ultimate Sanrio experience, making its debut in Australia?

An unforgettable performance by five popular characters of Sanrio - Hello Kitty, My Melody, Dear Daniel, Bad Badtz-Maru, and U・SA・HA・NA is embarking on a grand and mysterious adventure- Journey To The West that draws inspiration from classic Chinese literature.

One day, Hello Kitty and her friends accidentally unlock a mysterious box, and two friends are captured by monsters and imprisoned in an unknown place. They must search for ways to rescue their trapped friends and find a way to return to the real world. During this journey, they use songs and love to touch and inspire every audience member who joins this magical journey! With dazzling costumes, stunning visuals, unforgettable music, and loads of fun, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that the whole family will adore!

Car Parking: Our preferred Car Park is located at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB).The entry to the car park is via York Street, with the option to self-park or utilize the valet parking service. Please present your parking ticket at the Theatre Manager’s Office to validate your parking for a discount rate of $12 during weeknights (entry after 5pm) and weekends. Alternatively, parking can also be booked online at the discounted rate via QVB Car Park Website.
Accessibility: Some accessible seating can be purchased online. Bookings including a Companion Card ticket can only be collected from the Box Office. State Theatre has access to the wheelchair-accessible facilities of the adjoining hotel. Please speak to one of our staff on the night for assistance.
