About

Where Art, Science & Glow Collide!

Step into a world of neon, fluorescent fun, and glowing creativity at the Workshops Rail Museum this autumn! Glowscapes is a brilliant fusion of art and STEM, packed with playful, hands-on activities designed especially for primary school-aged children.

🎨✨ Create glowing masterpieces with UV-reactive materials, explore the magic of bioluminescence, and add your touch to the giant Neon Power House mural. Kids can dress in fluoro or white to really light up the room!

🛠️ In the Maker Space, experiment with fluorescent crafts, collage, and watch your designs glow under UV light. Plus, don’t miss:

  • Glow Boxes experiments

  • Glow-themed Storytime

  • Glowing Scorpion Workshop

🎬 Round off the day at the free Pyjama Party Movie Night featuring Finding Nemo and Finding Dory! PJs encouraged—bookings essential.

📅 Perfect for families looking to light up the school holidays with a mix of science, art, and storytelling.

It’s bright, it’s bold, it’s Glowscapes—your autumn must-do!
