Located in Outback Queensland, this immersive tour takes families behind the scenes of real fossil digs, where you’ll see paleontologists in action, learn how fossils are uncovered, and even touch genuine dinosaur bones. Kids will be wide-eyed meeting Australotitan cooperensis, the gentle giant that once stomped across these very lands.

Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday (May-Sept 2025) and Tuesday to Saturday (Oct-Jan 2026) from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Is there mobile reception: 4G mobile phone reception (Telstra only) is available inside the museum. There is limited mobile reception outside. Free Wifi available in Museum.
Are any transfers available: Free Eromanga airport transfers are available via the museum mini-bus for booked museum tours. A shuttle is also available for visitors flying into Quilpie Airport which is a 1-hour drive from Eromanga. The shuttle bus accommodates 1-4 people and costs $215 from Quilpie Airport. Please note this shuttle must be booked at least 3 days prior to arrival.
