Imagine walking among life-size, real moving dinosaurs—yes, you heard that right! DinoFest is an interactive, family-friendly adventure that’s especially designed for kids aged nine and under, but we’re pretty sure the grown-ups will be just as thrilled.
The DinoFest Brisbane – Age of the Tyrannosaur experience will take you on an epic journey, revealing how Tyrannosaurs evolved from dog-sized dinos to become the most fearsome predators to ever roam the Earth.
But that’s just the beginning! Along the Dinosaur Trail, you’ll encounter over 30 roaring, moving dinosaurs, including a life-size T. Rex. After your 45-minute Dinosaur Encounter, the fun continues with awesome activities like a Dino Dig, themed arts and crafts, and a chance to “feel a fossil” with real dinosaur bones.

- Opening Hours: First session is at 10.30am, with gate opening 10 minutes before each session start time.
- Accessibility: Actively welcomes people with access needs. Wheelchair users are welcome. With a young audience we try and make the event at pram/buggy friendly as possible. It is an outdoor event held on typically flat grass.
- Will it be too scary: Not designed to be frightening, although the dinosaurs are realistic.
- What to bring: sunscreen, hat, water bottle.
