Holiday Bands is back! A four day music intensive for young people where you join a band on a Monday and play a gig on Thursday night.

Get ready to inspire your child’s imagination and ignite their creative spirit at Carclew’s School Holiday Camp!

A sell-out program, Holiday Bands is the unofficial front door to Adelaide's music scene for young people, connecting them with creative community, relevant skills and exciting all-ages opportunities to be part of an unforgettable music experience.

Whether you're a budding guitarist, vocalist, drummer or just love making music, this four-day intensive is the ultimate way to meet like-minded teens, form a band, and take the stage.

What's included:

• Form bands and write original music with guidance from emerging and established artists
• Jam, record and workshop skills like booking gigs, creating merch, and connecting with the music community
• Experience daily live performances from some of Adelaide's best current original acts.
• Record a demo of an original track in Carclew's professional Stables Studio and shoot press photos
• Perform live at Adelaide's home of original music Jive on Day 4!

Led by experts, these hands-on workshops run for a few hours up to a full day and are delivered by top arts practitioners and feature collaborations with renowned organisations like the Australian Dance Theatre and Lolly Jar Circus.
