- Opening Hours: Wed to Fri 1-5pm, Sat & Sun 10am-5pm
- General Admission: Sessions are free, self-guided, and do not have a time limit. Regular presentations are held across the day. Special event tickets may be pre-booked via the booking link.
- Car Parking: Both on-street and off-street parking options are available near the Discovery Centre. The closest are: Wilson Parking off Frome Road in Lot Fourteen and UPark Frome on Frome Street.
- Family Facilities: There is a microwave in the Carer Bathroom. The Discovery Centre is a breastfeeding-friendly institution.
- Accessibility: Actively welcomes people with access needs. Employ people with disability. Train your staff in disability awareness. Advise tour guides of the access needs of guests at the time of booking (includes pick up and drop off requirements). Caters for people who use a wheelchair. Have a step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs). Have accessible seating areas in theatrette. Have an accessible public toilet which is unlocked. Have a wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room.
