SPARK POP is proud to be a Community Partner of Social Mums Club in 2023. As a marketplace offering things to do and gifting for kids, connection is at the heart of SPARK POP and the reason why we are thrilled to have this opportunity to connect with the mothers of Social Mums Club.
Founder, Kirsty Foster, who moved to Brisbane in 2019 with her 3 boys, created the Facebook Group ‘Social Mums’ to meet likeminded locals.
This has since grown into three thriving Clubs based in the Bayside and Redlands areas of Brisbane. Social Mums Club boasts a popular membership programme, connecting over 4000 mums!
Through regular connection events like movie nights, running club, book club, ladies lunches, Social Mums Club helps its members to be more connected, supported and uplifted than ever before (with or without kiddos).
The number of families with both parents working is continuing to increase, recent statistics revealing nearly 75% of couple families with children under 15 have mothers who are employed.
And so not only over worked, but over committed and living in a hyperconnected world, now more than ever we need opportunities to bring people together in an enjoyable space.
Whether that be via social groups like Social Mums Club, or by simply getting out and exploring our communities, cities, states and countries through shared experiences, let’s make the time to fill our cups with opportunities for fun and friendships!
