SEA LIFE Melbourne’s Penguin Passport experience offers a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for families. Suit up in Antarctic snow gear and step onto the ice for a close encounter with the majestic King penguins and playful Gentoo penguins. This 45-minute tour takes you behind the scenes of SEA LIFE’s state-of-the-art penguin exhibit, where you’ll get an exclusive look at how these incredible birds are cared for.
Guided by experienced keepers, you’ll walk among the penguins, observing their natural behaviors and experiencing life in their icy habitat. - Car Parking: Secure Parking at 522 Flinders Lane, only 240m from SEA LIFE Melbourne. Present your car park ticket to SEA LIFE admissions team to get your ticket validated for $22 Weekdays / $9 Weekends and Public Holidays
- What to bring: You MUST BRING or WEAR SOCKS on the day of your experience. Failure may result in tour being cancelled.
- When do I need to arrive: Please arrive no later than 30min before your Penguin Passport start time.
- How many people will be participating at the same time: Sessions are limited to 4 guests at a time with 1 guide.
Guidelines, Cancellation, Terms
Health & Safety Requirements
- You must not come into contact with birds 24 hours prior to your Penguin Passport experience
- If you experience Flu/Cold/Gastro/Respiration infection within 48 hours of your experience, you will need to contact us to reschedule
- No jewellery, watches, mobile phones or cameras can be taken on tour
- If you have trouble navigating stairs, please let us know in advance BEFORE making your booking online
- You MUST wear/bring socks on the day of your experience. Failure to do this may result in the tour being cancelled.
