About

Feel the beat, tell your story, and celebrate culture through dance!

Get ready to move, groove, and celebrate NAIDOC Week with the First Nations Hip Hop Dancing Kids Workshop! Led by the dynamic Georgie Baumann—a proud Butchulla, South Sea Islander, and Gubbi Gubbi artist—this high-energy workshop fuses modern hip-hop moves with the rich traditions of First Nations storytelling. It's a unique opportunity for young dancers to connect with culture, rhythm, and community.

Participants will learn dynamic choreography that blends contemporary dance with Indigenous cultural expression. Through rhythm and movement, kids will explore the vibrant traditions of Indigenous culture, gaining a deeper understanding of the powerful role of dance in community and identity. No prior dance experience is needed—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

This workshop offers more than just dance; it's an empowering experience that celebrates cultural identity and self-expression. By participating, children will not only develop their dance skills but also build confidence, foster connections, and gain a greater appreciation for First Nations cultures.

🎟️ Spaces are limited, so don't miss out on this exciting NAIDOC Week event. Book your child's spot in the First Nations Hip Hop Dancing Kids Workshop today and let them experience the joy of dance and culture!
