Did someone say treasure? Ahoy, little pirates! Get ready for a guided treasure hunt around the island, following clues and uncovering its unique natural features.

Escape to paradise by journeying through UNESCO World Heritage-listed rainforest mountains followed by a leisurely trip down the Mulgrave River with a short 10km open water crossing to Frankland Islands – the shortest crossing of any Great Barrier Reef day trip!

Arrive in awe at the beauty of this archipelago, a natural haven for wildlife such as turtles, manta rays, dugong, colourful reef fish, and anemones. Enjoy pristine sandy beaches and vibrant fringing reefs, perfect for snorkeling right from the shore. Kids can also join in Snorkel Stars, a half-hour snorkelling tutorial and receive a take-home certificate to commemorate their snorkel achievements.⭐

With four and a half hours on the island, you can explore at your own pace, participate in various activities, and delve into the island’s ecosystem with a marine biologist and Master Reef Guide.  Embark on the exclusive Frankland Islands Reef Cruise—an intimate adventure amidst the stunning Great Barrier Reef, designed for creating unforgettable family memories.

The Frankland Islands Group National Park is part of the traditional sea country of the Mandingalby Yindinji and Gunganji Aboriginal peoples, who continue to use these waters for fishing, hunting, and gathering food.
