Step into a storybook world of palaces, adventure, and bravery with The Princess, The Pea (and The Brave Escapee)—a magical new ACO Families production where fairy tale meets fearless imagination.

Meet Isabella: a royal born into luxury, but dreaming of a life beyond the castle walls. When a storm rolls in, so does her chance to break free. Guided by her incredible super senses, she embarks on an enchanting journey filled with unexpected friendships, daring feats, and heartwarming discoveries.

With a beautiful original score performed live by ACO musicians, and a script by award-winning playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer, this is theatre that inspires courage, even when stepping into the unknown feels a little scary.

What is this suitable for: Perfect for ages six years and above.
Family Facilities: There is also an accessible baby change room in the basement. MLAK (Master Locksmith Access Key) can be used to access these facilities. If you do not have a MLAK, please see Customer Service to gain access and further information about this service. Please feel free to bring a small cushion with you for your child to sit on in the theatre.
Can I bring a pram or stroller: Prams and strollers are not permitted inside the theatre. If possible, please avoid bringing these to shows as there is not a secure storage area.
Car Parking: There is a wide range of parking located within close proximity to the Glasshouse. There is also a drop-off point adjacent to the Glasshouse forecourt and the bus zone is located directly outside the building. P1 Short Street (river end), P2 Plaza car park (Short St), P3 Port Central car park
Accessibility: The Glasshouse has accessible toilets on basement level and on Level 2 with access via the lift.
