For those who want a hands-on experience, join the Fossil Discovery Lab and become a palaeontologist for the day! Dig through million-year-old sediment from the Bone Cave and Phosphate Mine, uncovering bones, fossils, and cave treasures. Lab sessions are designed for both children and adults, offering an exciting opportunity to explore the past and make your own discoveries.
The Fossil Discovery Lab sessions are held in the classroom within the Visitor Experience Centre, and you can choose to pair this experience with a cave tour or enjoy it on its own.

- What do I need to wear: Enclosed shoes are mandatory for tours. Crocs, sandals, Ugg boots and thongs are not suitable footwear. Entry will be refused for those not in appropriate footwear.
Guidelines, Cancellation, Terms
Hard Hats are required for all tours. We supply hard hats for all guests, however you are more than welcome to bring your own or bike helmets.
