This theatrical adaptation of the Emmy® award-winning TV show features a brand-new story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and delightful original music by Joff Bush. With stunning puppetry and the Heelers’ signature charm, it’s a live experience that brings all the joy and humor of Bluey straight to the stage!

Audience Participation
Bluey’s Big Play is friendly for all ages so the whole family can enjoy! Please note that, after the performance, some audience members will be invited to participate in games of “Keepy Uppy” – one where several air filled balls (made of materials which do not include BPA, Latex or PVC) are released into the audience, and another with bubbles (made of non-stain solution).
As with many children’s games, playing “Keepy Uppy” may at times become boisterous and unpredictable. Our top priority is to keep audience members safe which is why some sections of the venue will not be able to play “Keepy Uppy”. If you do not wish to participate in these games, we recommend you leave the theatre after curtain call.

- Car Parking: Theatre Lane car park – Located to the north of the Canberra Theatre Centre, at the corner of London Circuit and Theatre Lane. ACT Government surface car park at Constitution Avenue – Located on the corner of London Circuit and Constitution Avenue. Constitution Place underground car park – The closest car park to Canberra Theatre Centre, which can be accessed via Constitution Avenue. - Cloaking Facilities: Complimentary cloaking service is available an hour prior to each performance and patrons are encouraged to cloak items such as bulky coats, umbrellas, and large bags.
- Is there a family ticket: Yes a FAMILY TICKET BUNDLE includes 4 admits is available – save $5 per ticket. Simply select 4 tickets on the map, and on the next page when reviewing your purchase, use the drop-down menu next to each seat to change the price from “Admit” to “Family”. You must change all 4 tickets to the family price on order to proceed. This offer is not available on the VIP Meet & Greet Experience. Family discounts cannot be applied retroactively after purchase.
Guidelines, Cancellation, Terms
- Children aged 18 months and younger on the day of the performance, can be admitted free of charge, but they must be seated on an accompanying adult’s lap for the duration of the event. They will not be allocated a seat.
