Step into a twinkling world of festive cheer at Toowoomba’s Christmas Wonderland, a magical community event that lights up the Queens Park Botanic Gardens every December.

For over two decades, this beloved Christmas Lights Display has brought joy to families with its glowing gardens, dazzling light installations, and a heartwarming spirit of giving. Each night, enjoy live entertainment, from local singers and dance groups to roving performers spreading Christmas smiles.

Kids will love the free ice cream and popcorn, the miniature train and village display, and the festive glow products for sale — while parents can relax with a cuppa from the BBQ and coffee stall.

This low-cost, family-friendly event runs 7 pm to 10 pm nightly, from the first Saturday in December through to Christmas Eve (closing at 9 pm on Christmas Eve). Entry is by gold coin or Tap ‘N’ Go donation, with all proceeds supporting local charities including Toowoomba Hospice, Lifeline Darling Downs, and the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.
