This course is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience to make the necessary decisions independently required for Self Reliance.
A common misunderstanding is that Self Reliance means simply solo diving or diving alone, it is not.
**It is building the skills to handle situations underwater independently, which will make you a stronger diver or member of the Dive Team.**
That said however; for Dive Professionals, Photographers, Travelling Divers and those that want to focus on different things from everyone else SOLO DIVING has its place **if you are Properly Trained, Properly Equipped and most of all Properly Prepared.**

- Classroom work on risks, responsibilities, planning, preparation, emergency skills
- Gear Review / Skill review
- Knowledge Review
**Minimum 3 Dives covering:**
- Enhanced Safety Checks
- Self Reliance
- Skill Building
- DSMB Use
- Pony Bottles
- Ascent Procedures
- Bottom Time
- Safety and Decompression Stops.
• The 3rd and 4th Dive can be undertaken as unsupervised Solo Dives if you so wish.
###Who you are:
- You are over 18 years old
- A minimum of a qualified RESCUE DIVER
- Have completed a minimum of 100 Logged Dives
- Have all your own equipment, including Advanced Items
- Be confident and comfortable under water
