Are you ready for the ultimate Sanrio experience, making its debut in Australia?

An unforgettable performance by five popular characters of Sanrio - Hello Kitty, My Melody, Dear Daniel, Bad Badtz-Maru, and U・SA・HA・NA is embarking on a grand and mysterious adventure- Journey To The West that draws inspiration from classic Chinese literature.

One day, Hello Kitty and her friends accidentally unlock a mysterious box, and two friends are captured by monsters and imprisoned in an unknown place. They must search for ways to rescue their trapped friends and find a way to return to the real world. During this journey, they use songs and love to touch and inspire every audience member who joins this magical journey! With dazzling costumes, stunning visuals, unforgettable music, and loads of fun, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that the whole family will adore!

  1. Car Parking: The Palais Theatre does not have its own carpark. Street parking is available around the theatre, or there is a council managed car park situated behind the theatre for approximately $5.60* per hour or $13.20* all day, entry via Jacka Boulevard, or Cavell Street. Disabled parking is available in Cavell Street.
  2. Accessibility: Accessible seating can be purchased online. Bookings including a Companion Card ticket can only be collected from the Box Office.
  3. Food & Beverage:  Patrons can enjoy the Palais Theatre’s snack and beverage offerings from doors opening time (check your ticket) until no later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled finish. We have a selection of soft drinks, chocolates, chips and ice-creams on offer as well as a central bar fully fitted out with beers on tap, wine and spirits. Come in and relax overlooking Luna Park and St Kilda from our Wintergarden Bar.
