Build up your appetite by joining us on our signature St Andrew’s Beach Ride, our signature ride for good reason, you’ll start your day at the Gunnamatta Stables where you’ll get the opportunity to meet the horses, and chat to our experienced guides who will help to choose a suitable mount for your adventure.
As soon as everyone is aboard, we’ll set off on the trails from Gunnamatta and head out along the winding trails, and along the coastal bushland paths where you’ll get a real feel for the area.
The Mornington Peninsula is a famous destination that attracts Australians, and international visitors throughout the year. With such diverse botany, abundant wildlife, and far stretching views – it’s easy to see why so many visitors choose to spend their holidays here.
After wandering through the local nature, you’ll head onto the golden sands of St Andrews Beach where you’ll feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the peace and clarity that you could only experience while riding on the beach!
After two hours in the saddle, you can always visit the Peninsula Hot Springs and spend your 4hr time slot to relax your muscles after your riding adventure. Sit back and relax in the temperate mineral waters in one of the many pools, and have a day of ultimate relaxation. All you need to do is provide us with your preferred entry time and we will orgnanise the rest or feel free to contact the Peninsula Hot Springs directly and organise a day or time that suits you.

what_to_bring: Please ensure all riders are wearing long pants and fully enclosed shoes acceptable for riding a horse. Any rider arriving in unsuitable shoes will be provided with an option from our small selection – however all sizes not guaranteed.
Gunnamatta Trail Rides advises you bring a jacket with you in case of rain, as rides will continue regardless of weather – except in extreme storm conditions where you will be contacted to reschedule the booking.
